June 10, 2019

Bank Saint Petersburg and BI.ZONE signed an agreement on long-term cooperation in the field of cybersecurity. Under the contract, the two organizations begin implementing projects to ensure countering fraud in payment channels, including automated monitoring of unauthorized operations. BI.ZONE will provide services to the bank ensuring the prevention, prompt response and effective investigation of financial fraud incidents. In addition, the parties will exchange data on new cyber threats, how to detect them, and prevent incidents.

Bank Saint Petersburg pays great attention to the security of remote customer service systems. Protection of client data and operations is one of the main priorities of the bank. In order to increase the effectiveness of protection against criminals when clients perform payment operations, the bank takes measures to transfer fraud analysis systems to a new industrial platform, which will allow the bank to implement cross-channel data analysis in operated electronic payment systems. Thus, the fraud analysis system from BI.ZONE was chosen

Board Deputy Chairman, Bank Saint Petersburg

Our team continuously encounters cyber-threat epidemics and the new methods of their distribution. Traditionally, cybercriminals focused most of their attention on the financial sector, where attacks are directed both at the organization’s IT infrastructure as well as the bank’s clients. The time when security loved silence is over; today, banks are not only investing in remedies, but are also beginning to recognize the importance of sharing incident data. I am confident that through joint efforts we will one day witness the fight against cybercriminals evolve from a technological "arms race" into mainstream preventive measures
