Since the Bangladesh Bank heist in 2016, SWIFT has been paying great attention to most pressing cybersecurity problems that are traditionally discussed at the Sibos conference.

This year, SWIFT has launched its own Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (ISAC) that constitutes an important step forward to addressing cybersecurity issues. SWIFT ISAC is aimed to facilitate the community’s access to actionable cybersecurity threat intelligence, enabling the community to better defend itself against potential future cyberattacks. Having relevant and timely intelligence is a critical factor for effective mitigation of cyberthreats.

Being a recognized SWIFT cybersecurity provider, BI.ZONE is an active member of the constant information exchange process in both ways—directly with SWIFT customers and via SWIFT ISAC. We strongly believe that well-timed introduction of up-to-date technologies and comprehensive international cooperation are crucial for effective prevention of cyberattacks.

Sibos is the premier annual event for the financial industry. The conference and the exhibition are organized by SWIFT and facilitate debate, networking, and collaboration around the future of payments, securities, cash management, trade, and financial crime compliance. For one week every year, Sibos connects about 8,000 business leaders, decision makers, and thought leaders from financial institutions, fintech companies, and regulators.
