On 18 June 2020, Sberbank and BI.ZONE have published ‘Threat Zone 2020: Not waiting for thunder’ — an analytical research carried out by the experts of the two organisations.

Threat Zone 2020 is the third study from the annual series of researches dedicated to modern threats. In 2018, Threat Zone addressed the challenges posed by digitalisation. Last year’s study explored the methods used by cybercriminals and the most popular cyberattacks. Threat Zone 2020 focuses on the latest developments in the digital threat landscape and the security challenges faced by organisations, including those caused by the pandemic. Experts compare the levels of system security in various industries and provide recommendations on how to enhance resilience to the newest cyberthreats.

You can download the full research here.

2020 has changed the lives of millions of people. Digitalisation is picking up pace with risks growing fast — given our increasing dependence on digital communication channels, the chances of a cyber crisis multiply. Therefore, our third study is called ‘Not waiting for thunder’. It analyses the current and newest threats and offers the readers practical tools to assess the cyber resilience of their business as well as recommendations on how to protect themselves and their customers in the new conditions
